The Queen is renowned for her conversational skills, meeting people from all walks of life on a daily basis. So it comes as no surprise that someone has collected all of the interesting titbits into a book!
‘What The Queen said to me’ is a new publication by Chilli Brenner, featuring the real-life conversations Her Majesty has had with her subjects and admirers who were lucky enough to speak to her.
While often just a few brief seconds, these conversations – full of wisdom, wit and joy – have created special memories for people.
“From walkabouts to investitures, civil servants to Sirs, royal outfitters to radio DJ’s, artists to head teachers, the book has stories from all walks of life covering many different royal occasions,” reads the blurb.
All reviews so far have been very positive: “This is such a beautiful book. Definitely one for the coffee table. So many anecdotes that give you an deeper insight into who the Queen really is. Some very touching and funny moments,” one reads.
