Royal diary: upcoming royal engagements 10-16th June

This week is a pretty full schedule for the Royal Family, with almost everyone undertaking engagements. The north of England is getting the royal treatment this week, receiving visits from Prince William and Kate, Prince Edward, and Princess Anne.

10th June:

– The Duke of Cambridge will attend Child Bereavement UK’s 25th Birthday Gala Dinner at Kensington Palace, as the organisation’s patron.

– The Princess Royal will visit Jersey; she will attend the Annual General Meeting at The Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society, Royal Jersey Showground, as President of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth; and launch the seventh Healthy Eating Week for Schools at Jersey College for Girls, as Patron of The British Nutrition Foundation.

– Princess Alexandra, President of the British School of Rome, will attend a lecture at the British Academy, London.

11th June:

– The Prince of Wales will host a reception for recipients of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise at Buckingham Palace, on behalf of The Queen.

– The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Keswick, to celebrate the resilience and spirit of rural and farming communities in the region.

– The Earl of Wessex, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation will hold a dinner at Windsor Castle.

– The Princess Royal, Patron of the Voluntary Service Overseas, will attend a reception at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall, London. Anne will also open an Affordable Housing Development in Bolney, West Sussex, as Patron of the English Rural Housing Association.

12th June:

– The Duchess of Cornwall will attend the Bees for Development biennial garden party, Marlborough House, London. Camilla will also attend a reception to mark the reopening of Fulham Palace to the public, as Honoary Patron of Fulham Palace Trust.

– The Duchess of Cambridge will attend the first annual gala dinner in recognition of Addiction Awareness Week, as Patron of Action on Addiction.

– The Earl of Wessex will visit The Floating Barges Garden, Tower Bridge Moorings, London, as Patron of The London Gardens Society; he will also visit the Cannon Bridge Roof Gardens, London, in the same capacity, and additionally attend a reception at The Queen’s Club, Hammersmith, as Patron of The Tennis and Rackets Association.

– The Princess Royal, President of the Riding for the Disabled Association, will open the new Training Centre at Lowlands Farm, Warwick, and attend the Annual General Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse, as Patron of the Townswomen’s Guilds. Princess Anne will also attend the Wardens’ Strategy Meeting at Fishmongers’ Hall, London, as
Fourth Warden of The Fishmongers’ Company; attend a dinner at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, as Patron of UK Youth.

– The Duke of Kent Will visit Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, The Wolseley Visitor Centre and Nature Reserve, Stafford; Prince Edward will also visit Cannock Chase Skills and Innovation Hub, then head to Lichfield to visit St. Mary’s, Market Square, and Lichfield Cathedral.

13th June:

– The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will host a reception for Elephant family at Clarence House, as joint presidents.

– The Earl of Wessex will spend the day in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Prince Edward will visit the Oyster Farm, Barrow-in-Furness; BAE Systems; St Mary’s Hospice; and Cumbria Wildlife Trust.

– The Princess Royal will attend the Committee of Wardens Meeting and General Court Meeting at Fishmongers’ Hall, London. And, as Patron of the National Association of Retired Police Officers, Anne will attend a Centenary Dinner at the Tower of London.

– The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron of the Friends of Cathedral Music’s Diamond Fund for Choristers, will attend the Cathedral Choristers of Britain Concert in Liverpool Cathedral.

– The Duke of Gloucester, Joint Patron of Thames Landscape Strategy, will attend their Annual Summer Party at London City Hall.

14th June:

– The Duchess of Cornwall will attend the live broadcast of the final of BBC Radio 2’s 500 Words creative writing competition, and a reception for competition winners at Windsor Castle.

– The Princess Royal will unveil a Statue of John Hulley, Liverpool Waterfront, and pen Wirral Churches Ark Project’s renovated Mary Cole House in Merseyside.

– The Duke of Kent will visit Anglia Ruskin University School of Medicine, Chelmsford and visit the new Riverside Leisure Centre in the town.
