New photos of The Queen with her heirs Charles, William & George making Christmas pudding!

A new set of photos has brought together four generations of the Royal Family: The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.

Taken by royal photographer, Chris Jackson, The Queen looks on as Prince George mixes Christmas pudding in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace – the location of a number of royal christenings.

Prince Charles can’t contain his giggles, while The Duke of Cambridge looks amused at his son’s fun.

The snaps were taken as part of the ‘Together at Christmas’ initiative for the Royal British Legion, who run the Poppy Appeal. The idea is to provide extra support to the Armed Forces and veterans at annual festive get togethers across the charity’s network.

The foursome prepared special Christmas puddings which will form part of 99 puddings distributed by the RBL across the UK and the Commonwealth, as the charity marks its 99th year next year.

This isn’t the only glimpse we will get however; footage will be seen in The Queen’s annual Christmas Speech next week, at 3pm on Christmas Day.

It appears the photos might have been taken during the family’s Christmas lunch earlier this week; Prince George is wearing the same white shirt with blue piping. The palace tells us the photo was taken this month.

This is the third family photo of this kind, with the four generations together. We had a family photo for George’s christening, and one for a set of stamps to mark The Queen’s 90th birthday, of the foursome sitting down together, with George on a stool!

We leave you with another group shot, including those affiliated with the RBL, who were at the Christmas pudding making session!
