You can follow Princess Eugenie on social media

Some of the more modern Royals are now on social media – and Princess Eugenie of York has joined them, like her father and sister, by setting up a Pinterest account.

While The Duke of York and Princess Beatrice have Twitter accounts to communicate their Royal work, it seems the youngest York Princess wants to share her artistic flare with the world instead.

Pinterest allows users to ‘pin’ or collect images from across the web. These can be arranged into (mood) boards by category and saved for browsing at a later date. Images include amateur photography, recipes, interior design inspiration, travel photos and beauty tutorials.

Princess Eugenie’s account has 1500 followers at the time of writing, with 11 boards and over 800 pins. Two boards include her ‘best picks’ of locations in London and New York, while others collect quotes from artists and another looks at what is hot in the art world at the moment.

Since graduating from Newcastle University in 2012, Eugenie has worked for art auction companies, hence the focus on the art world. Her degree combined Art History and English Literature. She now works at Swiss gallery Hauser & Wirth, which is devoted to contemporary and modern art in various locations across the globe.

The Princess’ bio describes her: “Associate Director at Hauser & Wirth // Art Lover // Foodie // Happy Traveller.”

Some of those she follows include the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tate Gallery, and model Olivia Palermo.
