Prince Harry & William greet crowds in Windsor ahead of #RoyalWedding after Doria meets Queen

This evening, Prince Harry and his brother and best man, Prince William, have greeted crowds waiting outside Windsor Castle, just hours after Meghan’s mother met The Queen.

Shortly before 6pm, the Princes walked out of the Henry VIII gate at Windsor Castle to cheers and whoops from well-wishers, who had started gathering for the royal wedding tomorrow as early as the beginning of this week. They undertook a semi-impromptu walkabout to thank those who were there for coming out.

The soon-to-be husband was given gifts, including teddies, and offered best wishes for the day ahead.

The Duke of Cambridge similarly greeted crowds and gave a walkabout the evening before his wedding in 2011, near Westminster Abbey.

We also now have confirmation that The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh met Doria at Windsor Castle this afternoon; Prince Harry and Meghan were there, too. Of course, she met Prince Charles and Camilla yesterday, in what has been described as a ‘jolly’ meeting between the in-laws.

In the short time before we published, Meghan and Doria arrived at Cliveden House. When asked how she felt, she said: “Wonderful, thank you.”
