The Cambridges leave Kensington Palace for Norfolk

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spotted leaving Kensington Palace London. Royal news.

A member of the public videoed the family leaving Kensington in their black Range Rover, followed by another car, the family’s security detail.

The video appears to show William driving the family, with Catherine sitting in the front seat. The Duke is to begin his job with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service soon, having completed his exams last month.

The journey to Anmer Hall in Norfolk is about 115 miles and will take the couple roughly 2 and a half hours to get there.

Princess Charlotte is now four days old and met The Queen and Prince Philip yesterday. Their visit lasted around 30 minutes. The newborn met her grandparents on Sunday, both the Middeltons and Prince Charles and Camilla visited Kensington Palace.

A family photo will be released in due course, but we do not expect to see the newborn again for a while.
