Corgis have long been associated with The Queen, and Lupo has even featured in family photos with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Now children’s author and royal fan, David Seow, has written about the antics of the royal dogs in his new book, ‘The Royal Pup Pack – Party at the Palace’
Four dogs we know of in the Royal Family take centre stage: Lupo, Guy, Oz (Meghan’s Beagle and the Sussex’s labrador), and Jack (Princess Eugenie’s Norfolk Terrier). The story takes place around Prince Louis’ first birthday and the arrival of Baby Sussex – Archie – with the dogs are unsure what to get the youngsters as presents.
‘A chance encounter with a stray dog spurs the pups into inviting a host of hungry, homeless hounds to the celebrations. Will that be the perfect present or the recipe for a royal pawtastrophe?’ the blurb explains.
The illustrations are gorgeously done by Soefara Jafney, depicting the pups at play, making mischief and even being good!
Dave has also written a number of books in the ‘Sam, Sebbie and Di-Di-Di’ series, based upon his nieces and nephew. You may remember ‘A Day with the Duchess’, where the trio followed Prince William and Kate on their visit to Singapore, chasing down their hamster!
Proceeds from sales will be going to Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter in Singapore, to help dogs, and other furry friends, in need. Read more about their work here.
