Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor is the only daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Gabriella is currently 52nd in line to the British throne. She is due to marry today.
Prince Michael of Kent is the first cousin to Her Majesty The Queen; his father, Prince George of Kent, was the younger brother of King George VI, The Queen’s father.
Gabriella was born on 23rd April 1981 in London. Her older brother is Lord Frederick Windsor, who is married to actress Sophie Winkleman, now Lady Frederick Windsor; through Frederick, Gabriella is aunt to nieces Maud and Isabella. Gabriella’s close friends call her ‘Ella’.
Lady Gabriella grew up in Kensington Palace. Gabriella attended Queen’s Gate School in London and Downe House School in Berkshire. In 2004 Gabriella graduated from Brown University in Rhode Island, United States, with a degree in Comparative Literature. In 2012 Gabriella earned an MPhil in Social Anthropology from Linacre College, University of Oxford.
Gabriella is currently a Senior Director for Branding Latin America, a brand positioning platform that specialises in the region. She is also a writer and contributes to The London Magazine; her pieces have been featured in the Sunday telegraph, the Evening Standard and Country Life.
Gabriella also focuses much of her time into her role as Board Director for the Playing for Change Foundation; the Foundation is a global music and arts education non-profit. She has previously completed projects in Latin America, included teaching English in Rio de Janeiro and working on music events in Buenos Aires.
Lady Gabriella is not a working Royal, but she has been seen at large royal events like Trooping the Colour.
Thomas Kingston
Thomas Henry Robin Kingston was born in Evesham on 22nd June 1978. His father is Martin Kingston QC at Middle Temple, who specialises in Planning and the Environment. His mother in Jill Kingston, who runs the Nadezhda Charitable Trust, which supports a wide range of projects with an emphasis on Zimbabwe. Martin and Jill live in Cirencester.
Thomas graduated with a degree in Economic History from Bristol University. After graduation, Thomas began his career at the Diplomatic Missions Unit of the Foreign Office.
In 2003, Thomas moved to Baghdad for three years to work as a project officer to mediate conflicts. During his time in Iraq, Thomas specialised in helping to negotiate the release of hostages.
After his move back to London in 2006, Thomas worked as an analyst for asset management firm Schroders; he then moved to Voltan Capital Management as Managing Director. He is now Director of Devonport Capital, which specialises in providing finance for companies in so-called ‘frontier’ economies.
Thomas is good friends with Pippa Middleton, the sister of The Duchess of Cambridge. Thomas and Lady Gabriella attended Pippa’s wedding to James Matthews in Berkshire in May 2017.
Thomas’s ex-girlfriend, Natalie Hicks-Lobbecke, is also one of Prince William’s ex-girlfriends.
