The Regimental Brooch features an eight-point star that takes the shape that can be found in the Order of St. Patrick, who is the Patron saint of Ireland.

Overlaying the star is a shamrock and a cross of St. Patrick.

Around the shamrock is a motto of the Order of St. Patrick which reads ‘Quis separtabit’, meaning ‘Who will separate us?’.
