The Earl of Wessex continues his visit to Australia, as does Prince Charles. The Queen has a few appearances this week.
9th April:
– The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, will visit Cope-Williams Winery and Conference Centre, Real Tennis Court, Victoria, Australia, as part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Real Tennis Tour 2018. He will then go to Hobart Real Tennis Club, Hobart, Tasmania. Prince Edward will also attend a dinner at Government House, Hobart, Tasmania.
– The Princess Royal, as Chancellor of The University of Edinburgh, will attend the Monaco Blue Initiative Conference, Old College, Edinburgh and will later hold the Monaco Blue Initiative Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
10th April:
– The Earl of Wessex will visit St Aloysius Catholic College, Hobart, Tasmania; open the Lily Pad Bicentenary Project at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardensto mark their 200th anniversary; visit TasTAFE in Hobart; attend a lunch at Government House.
– The Princess Royal will open Standard Life Aberdeen plc’s new Global Headquarters in Edinburgh; will open Alba Bioscience Limited’s new Blood Grouping Manufacturing Facility, Biocampus, Milton Bridge, Penicuik, Midlothian; as Chancellor of The University of Edinburgh, Anne will hold a dinner at St. James’s Palace.
11th April:
– The Queen will give a reception for Her Majesty’s College of Chaplains.
– Prince Harry will formally launch the ‘Walk Of America’ expedition in London, as it’s patron. This is part of Walking with the Wounded.
– The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron of The Commonwealth Games Federation, will attend the Commonwealth Games 2018, Gold Coast, Australia.
– The Princess Royal, patron of the English Rural Housing Association, will open Mackmurdo Place, Wickham Bishops, Maldon, Essex. As president of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, Anne will present The Princess Royal Award at Buckingham Palace. She will also attend a Livery Dinner at Fishmonger’s Hall as Prime Warden of The Fishmongers’ Company.
– The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron of the Peace and Prosperity Trust, will attend the “Eastern Voices Western Echoes – Magic of the Music” Concert at Kensington Palace State Apartments. He will also unveil the new Gates at St George’s Garrison Church, Woolwich, London.
12th April:
– The Queen will visit the King George VI Day Centre, Windsor.
– The Princess Royal, who is Prime Warden of The Fishmongers’ Company, will Chair the Committee of Wardens Meeting, Court Meeting and attend a Luncheon at Fishmonger’s Hall. As president of the Carers Trust, Princess Anne will attend a dinner at St. James’s Palace.
– The Duke of Gloucester, President of British Expertise, will present the British Expertise International Awards at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington High Street, London.
– The Duke of Kent, Chancellor, will attend the University of Surrey Higher Degree Ceremonies, Guildford Cathedral.
13th April:
– The Princess Royal will open Weston College South West Skills Campus, Locking Road, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset; visit a Save the Children shop in Castle Cary, Somerset, as patron of the charity; and open the Chocolate Quarter Retirement Village, Keynsham.
14th April:
– Princess Alexandra will open the Boathouse Restaurant and Shop, Glencaple, Dumfries, Scotland.
15th April:
– The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron of The Commonwealth Games Federation, will attend the Commonwealth Games 2018 Closing Ceremony, Gold Coast, Australia.
