Prince William has received his first coronavirus vaccine, and took to social media to thank those involved in the UK’s rollout of the jabs.
The Duke of Cambridge shared an image on the royal social media channels this morning from his visit to the Science Museum vaccination centre yesterday.
The post read: “To all those working on the vaccine rollout thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.”
The Prince, dressed in jeans and a shirt/jumper combination, has his sleeve rolled up and needle prepped to go into his arm.
William is 38, and the vaccine rollout was expanded to people in their 30s last week.
The Queen and late Duke of Edinburgh were amongst the first to receive theirs in January, while The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were jabbed in February.
