New photos of the Cambridges have been released, showing Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoying their first experience in the snow on a family skiing trip.
The images were taken on a recent short break to the slopes, and show The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s family in snowy landscapes, looking at the camera.
Princess Charlotte is held by her mother, Catherine, wearing a cream ski suit and pink hat, while Prince George stands next to his father, Prince William, in a navy suit and red fairisle patterned hat. Both children smile.
The second photo was taken during a snow shower, and William and Kate crouch down to George’s level, as Princess Charlotte is balanced on her mother’s knee, giggling.
All images were taken by John Stillwell, a Press Association photographer, whom the family invited to photograph them as they took a short break in the French Alps. Both William and Catherine are known for their skiing prowess.
Kensington Palace said it was ‘their first holiday as a family of four’ and ‘the first time either of the children have played in the snow’. William and Catherine are ‘delighted’ to share the photos and hope that the public enjoy them.
Lastly, a picture of Prince William holding Charlotte completes the set, and we notice the 10-month-old Princess has teeth coming through!
A few images show the Duke and Duchess also frolicking in the snow, appearing to have a snowball fight. William wears a blue and black ski jacket with black salopettes, and Kate a white jacket with red trousers. Both wear hats and ski goggles.
What do you think of the photos?

So wonderful! The Princess has her Father’s and Grandmother’s Eyes.
What a very lovely family! Love from Canada and God Save The Queen!
Very nice to see these photos. I love the idea of a skiing holiday and have visited the French alps myself.
