Last Sunday, The King hosted a state reception with senior working Royals at Buckingham Palace for world leaders, ahead of the Queen’s funeral.
The King met with heads of state and politicians who had been invited to London to say farewell to his late mother, the Queen.

The world leaders who attended the reception included American President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Charles was joined by his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, as well as The Prince and Princess of Wales, and The Earl and Countess of Wessex.
A state reception on his scale has not been seen since the death of King George VI in 1952.
