A major new documentary from Prime Video and The King’s Foundation is set to premiere in 2026, offering an look into King Charles III’s lifelong environmental philosophy and his vision for a more sustainable future.
Titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, the landmark film chronicles The King’s enduring commitment to the principle of Harmony – a belief that humanity must learn to live with nature, rather than against it. The film is inspired by Charles’ 2010 book, ‘Harmony: A New Way of Looking At Our World’.
To mark the announcement, a new photograph of The King taken by Millie Pilkington was released. The picture was taken earlier in the summer in the arboretum at Highgrove Gardens during filming for the new documentary.
Pilkington, a frequent royal photographer, has captured numerous official portraits of The King and Queen, as well as photographs of The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children. Her portfolio of photographs includes Prince Louis’s fifth birthday, Princess Charlotte’s eighth and Prince George’s 10th, along with official portraits of Charles to mark the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament.

The King’s Harmony philosophy is seen in much of his work with The King’s Foundation, the charitable organisation he founded in 1990 (previously called The Prince’s Foundation), which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. From sustainable housing to regenerative agriculture, the Foundation’s projects – based at Dumfries House in Scotland – demonstrate His Majesty’s belief that environmental, social and economic wellbeing are deeply interconnected.
Directed by Nicolas Brown, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will explore the origins, evolution, and scientific basis of The King’s ideas. Through cinematography, exclusive interviews and rare archival footage, the documentary traces how The King’s vision has evolved from his early environmental advocacy to a global movement inspiring practical change across continents.
Audiences will witness powerful examples of Harmony in action from sustainable communities in India and forest conservation in Guyana to innovative food production and community regeneration initiatives in the UK.

On the announcement of the film, King Charles said: ‘Nature is our sustainer – we are a part of nature. Therefore, what we do to her, we do to ourselves. For much of my life I have sought to promote and encourage ways we can work with, rather than against, nature. In other words, to restore balance to our planet which is under such stress.’
‘This film will, I hope, demonstrate just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put Harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India–and, closer to home, through the work of my King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove.’

He added: ‘Never has it been more important for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritise our planet, and to restore our relationship with it.’
‘It is therefore my fondest hope that this film may encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony – and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it has given me to help build a more sustainable future.’
Courtenay Valenti, Head of Film at Amazon MGM Studios, said: “We are deeply honoured to bring His Majesty’s pioneering environmental philosophy to Prime Video audiences worldwide. Finding Harmony represents the culmination of The King’s lifelong dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship.”
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will launch exclusively on Prime Video in early 2026.
