Buckingham Palace has released a new photograph of Queen Camilla to mark her 78th Birthday.
The portrait was taken earlier this month in the garden at Raymill, Her Majesty’s private home in Wiltshire, by Chris Jackson.

It could be assumed that the photograph was taken at the same time as the picture captured of Her Majesty with her newly-adopted dog, Moley, as Camilla can be seen wearing the same outfit.

Camilla’s birthday week this year has seen her conduct a number of significant engagements. On the day prior to her 78th Birthday, she was appointed as Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom by the Royal Navy, becoming the first woman and first member of the Royal Family to hold the title. Earlier in the week, she officially opened a new dog-friendly garden at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in south London.
Her Majesty has previously marked her birthday with some special moments, such as making her debut in British Vogue in 2022 to mark her 75th Birthday with an exclusive interview that can be found here.
Queen Camilla’s edition of Country Life, produced to mark her 75th birthday, was the best-selling issue of all time. Her edition focused on championing her countryside champions, her favourite view and her top recipe. The magazine also won Cover of the Year.
