Kensington Palace has released a new photograph of Prince Louis to mark his 7th birthday.

The picture were taken earlier this month in Norfolk by Josh Shinner. The family have a home in the Norfolk countryside – Amner Hall near the Sandringham estate.

The picture shows the fourth in line to the throne smiling in a woodland setting.

In previous years, The Princess of Wales has taken the birthday portraits of her children. However, this trend was broken in 2023 with Louis’ picture, when Millie Pilkington was tasked capturing the young Prince.

Louis was born at the Lindo Wing in 2018. He has captured the hearts of many royal watchers in providing them with memorable moments over the years due to his facial expressions and cheeky behaviour.

Just love this little boy, but as all the Prince and Princess of Wales children, they are brought up ordinary children in their everyday life, and hopefully it all works well and am sure they think the same, but as my elder cousin once said to me when we had a problem with one of ours, her words have stuck with me, you love them, point them in the right direction but really only borrowed them until a certain age. Both ours were brought up the same, but one decided didn’t like us,no idea why but we still like or love hime. We are now 93 and 87, very sad and delighted to bring up.
