Kensington Palace has just announced the due date of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child, and have announced that William and Kate will tour of Scandinavia.
A tweet from the Palace explained that the royal baby is expected in April.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018,” the tweet read.
This means that Kate is approximately 12-14 weeks into her pregnancy. After the first trimester, morning sickness usually stops, although hyperemesis gravidarum – a severe form of the pregnancy condition from which the Duchess is suffering – can worsen with each pregnancy.

Earlier in the day, an announcement had also been made that William and Kate are to undertake an official visit to Sweden and Norway in ‘early 2018’.
No details have yet been announced, but we expect the couple to pay a visit to the Swedish King and Queen in Stockholm, and focus on a number of their causes, likely mental health.
However, since the visit is at the request of the Foreign Office, there will also be a number of engagements that will promote Britain and trading with the country.
Late January to mid-February seem to be good guesses on the dates for the visit, since the Duchess will then be almost 7 months into her pregnancy; with both her other pregnancies, Catherine stopped her royal duties for maternity leave approximately 6 weeks before she gave birth.
Prince William is also due to make a solo trip to Finland at the end of next month; it is reported that his wife was due to join him, but with her condition, there is no way she can join him.
The Duke of Cambridge will spend two days in the country, 29-30th November.
Prince Harry will also visit Denmark on 25-26th October, before flying to Chicago for the Obama Foundation at Halloween.

Oh for pity’s sake, can we at least start respecting her place as a member of the royal family and start addressing her correctly as Princess Catherine? To keep calling her kate is disrespectful.
Hi Inga; to call her Princess Catherine is incorrect. She is Princess William, however. Kate and Catherine are both used at TCC for variety, and Kate especially in headlines for its short nature! The Duchess has said previously she will respond to either, so it seems she doesn’t mind.

I so truly love Will and Kate but it seems like all she’s done since they got married is have babies. I’m sure there are other things she would rather be doing.
Greetings to the Duchess of CambridGE: : Congratulations ! So happy for you about your expected baby. I feel for you though, regarding morning sickness. I, too, had same problem for almost the whole of two pregnancies.
