Members of the Royal Family have revealed their Christmas photographs for this year, which will be used on official Christmas cards.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their photograph yesterday, which features the couple alongside their children during a holiday to Jordan over half term (October).
The image sees Prince George and Princess Charlotte sitting on traditional red stools, whilst Prince Louis sits crossed legged on a rug below. Catherine has her hand on her eldest son’s back, and another on her husband’s knee.
The country holds a special place in Catherine’s heart as she spent part of her childhood years in Jordan when her father worked for British Airways.
Last year, the Cambridges’ Christmas photograph featured a festive theme, as the family wore chunky knitwear as they posed at Anmer Hall, their home in Norfolk.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall also revealed their choice of photograph to mark this year’s festive period.
The photograph shows a heartwarming moment at this year’s Royal Ascot. Charles is seen helping his wife Camilla assisting her with her face mask.
While an unusual choice, the picture sums up 2021 in a year where face masks have become the norm, with everyone relating to the issues that masks can pose.
