Royal tours across the globe to mark the Platinum Jubilee • The Crown Chronicles

To mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, members of the Royal Family are set to undertake a series of spring royal tours across the globe.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news that the senior Royals will visit countries across the world, highlighting connections with the Commonwealth, and friendship with the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will kick off the series of visits by travelling to Belize, Jamaica and The Bahamas from 19th to 26th March.

The couple said they are ‘so excited’ to visit the countries and they ‘can’t wait to meet people in all three countries, celebrate local cultures and understand more about innovative work being done across communities’.

[themoneytizer id="17342-16"] The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are set to visit Ireland from 23rd to 25th March. The couple last visited Ireland in 2019, where they met the Irish President Michael D Higgins in County Wicklow . The visit had marked The Prince of Wales' fifth visit to the Republic of Ireland in five years. During their last visit, the royal couple attended a dinner to celebrate relations between the UK and Ireland. We also know that she will be spending time in Australia around Easter, but on a separate trip.

Finally, The Earl and Countess of Wessex will visit Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines from 22nd to 28th April.

[themoneytizer id="17342-3"] Her Majesty recently marked her Platinum Jubilee, where she made it her ‘sincerest wish’ for Camilla to be known as Queen Consort when Charles is King , in a message on the eve of her Accession anniversary. A new picture was also unveiled to mark the historic occasion, which saw her smiling with one of the famous red boxes at Sandringham, alongside a photo of her father.
