The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended the London premiere of ‘1917’ in December 2019.

Viewers will be able to hear the film via transmitters that connect to the Bluetooth/aux in cars.

As a result of having car engines on, the estate have promised to donate £1 of ever ticket to Woodland Trust/Rainforest Alliance.

Queen Victoria bought Sandringham in 1863 for her eldest son, the future Edward VII, and has been used as a private royal residence ever since. It is most famous as The Queen’s Christmas retreat, a tradition that only began in the 1980s, when Windsor Castle – the usual Royal Family Christmas location – needed repair work.

Sandringham House is located in Norfolk on a 20,000 acre estate, with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge owning Anmer Hall, just a few miles away from the main house.
