After Princess Beatrice and finace Edo Mapelli Mozzi had to postpone their wedding in May, it has been announced that the couple secretly married this morning.
Beatrice, 31, and Edo, 37, tied the knot in a ceremony in Windsor. It is thought to have been in the Royal Chapel of All Saints, however, not St George’s Chapel, where her sister Princess Eugenie married in October 2019.
The Queen – wearing turquoise – and Duke of Edinburgh were present, along with around 20 guests.

Weddings of up to 30 people can take place under current government guidelines.
The couple was supposed to marry on May 29 at the Chapel Royal of St James’s Palace, with The Queen hosting a garden reception in Buckingham Palace after the ceremony.
A reception is reportedly set to be held at the Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park.

It seems this was a good way for the couple to go; there has been much controversy around the wedding, after Prince Andrew’s dramatic fall from favour following the excruciating interview with Newsnight last year. This has long overshadowed the couple’s big day, putting the Princess in an awkward position.
But the private nature of the event means helps avoid this public involvement in the day, although it is certainly much different to how Beatrice and Edo had planned.
