Today’s Christmas service saw King Charles III led members of the Royal Family for the traditional Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene’s Church on the Sandringham Estate. Large crowds had gathered outside to get a glimpse of the Royals.
It is the first Christmas Service for Charles as a crowned Monarch following his Coronation in May this year, but it is the second service of the day; the family usually attend a service first thing.

Alongside The King at the front in leading the Royals was Queen Camilla, who was wearing camel for this year’s Service.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis followed Their Majesties. Catherine and the rest of the family were in blue and navy, while Princess Charlotte was in green.
Mia Tindall joined the Waleses, holding Prince Louis’ hand for the walk.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh – wearing shades of green and brown – were accompanied by Lady Louise and James, Earl of Wessex. It is their first service as Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh since The King conferred the title on his youngest brother earlier this year.
The Princess Royal, in white, attended alongside her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, with Zara and Mike Tindall and their two daughters.
The Duke of York was also in attendance for this year’s service, despite staying out of the spotlight in recent years, following his step back from public life after accusations of sexual abuse were brought against at him in 2019, and a disastrous Newsnight interview. He did not however walk from the main house.

Sarah Ferguson was also present for the walk, and seen chatting merrily to Princess Anne.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank followed, with Princess Beatrice being accompanied by husband Edo. The party was complete with the attendance of the Chattos and Snowdons, Charles’ cousins Sarah and David with their families.

After the service, the Royals greeted members of the public, chatting and receiving flowers. The family then headed back to Sandringham House, where they will have a lunch together and then a more formal dinner in the evening.
