‘I’m a Chelsea fan’ Kate reveals at school Christmas party

Getting into the festive Spirit, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the family school Christmas Party for the Anna Freud Centre.

Dressed in christmassy red, the Duchess joined the party in her capacity to celebrate the achievements at school this term.

One of the activities Kate took part in was creating a Christmas collage, before she joined a class playing ‘We Will Rock You’ in a drum lesson.

During her rounds speaking with staff and children, she revealed which football team she supported: Chelsea! It has often been rumoured the Duchess was a Reading fan, it being the closest team to her childhood home in Berkshire. It puts her at odds with brother-in-law Prince Harry, and The Queen, who are Arsenal fans. Husband William is an Aston Villa supporter.

The visit comes as Catherine continues her work with youth mental health; she visited the Anna Freud Centre back in September, her first engagement since giving birth to Princess Charlotte.
