A new family photo of the Cambridges has been released.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared another family photo as they prepare to celebrate their first Christmas as a family of four.
The image was taken by Chris Jelf and was shot in their private garden at Kensington Palace in late October.
Prince George stands next to his mother, giggling, while Princess Charlotte sits on her mother’s knee. William looks over at his son, while Catherine and Charlotte look towards the camera.
Photographer Mr. Jelf said: “I thoroughly enjoyed photographing a very lovely family, although you have to be sharp as you don’t have long when there are two young children involved!
“I hope everyone enjoys this photo and I am honoured that The Duke and Duchess have decided to share it with the public.”
The palace have said The Duke and Duchess are ‘hugely appreciative’ of the kind messages they have received about their family this year and that they ‘are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four’.
