Kensington Palace has released new pictures of Princess Charlotte on the eve of her 8th birthday.
The picture were taken this weekend in Windsor by her mother, The Princess of Wales. The family live at Adelaide Cottage, near to Windsor Castle.

The picture shows the third in line to the throne smiling in a relaxed setting.
It has become tradition that The Princess of Wales has taken the birthday portraits of her children. However, this trend was broken with Louis’ picture this year, when Millie Pilkington was tasked capturing the young Royal.
Princess Charlotte is expected to join her siblings, Princes George and Louis, at their grandfather’s Coronation later this week.
