The first official photographs of Prince Louis of Cambridge have been released this evening, almost two weeks after his arrival.
The Sunday Express features one of the images on their front page, and shows Princess Charlotte gently kissing her younger brother’s head. Louis appears to be sleeping, as she cradles him.

Charlotte’s hair is tied back and held in place with a clip, and she is wearing a navy cardigan.
Taken by keen photographer, Catherine, the image is one of two photos showing off the couple’s newest arrival, Prince Louis, who was born at 11.01 am on 23rd April at the Lindo Wing. He weighed 8lb 7oz.
The Princess turned three earlier this week, and royal fans were disappointed to not have seen a new image to mark the occasion as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have made tradition.
However, at midnight Kensington Palace officially released the two new photos. The first, showing Princess Charlotte kissing her younger brother, was taken on 2nd May, Princess Charlotte’s third Birthday. Charlotte is wearing a cardigan first worn by Prince George for the Queen’s 90th Birthday photographs.

The Queen is joined by her youngest grandchildren and her great-grandchildren in photos by Annie Leibovitz.
The second image shows Prince Louis lying alone, and was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April, at just three days old.
Via Twitter, Kensington Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace.
“The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.”

The images will feature on the front pages of many national newspapers tomorrow. It has been confirmed recently that Prince Louis will not be attending the wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle. However, those hoping to catch a glimpse of Prince George and Princess Charlotte will not have to wait long.
