Lady Sarah Chatto and her son, Sam, are supporting Princess Eugenie’s charity fundraising, by donating their work.
Sarah, 61, has donated an oil painting called ‘Studio Window 2023’, while Samuel, 29, has offered a glazed yellow bowl to the auction.
Artist Sarah said ‘Art is such an important creative focus in Horatio’s Gardens for patients with spinal injuries. I am really delighted to be able to help the charity to raise vital funds for people facing life-changing injuries.’

The King’s cousin, who is also godmother to Prince Harry and Lady Louise Windsor, studied at Camberwell School of Art, then the Royal Academy Schools.
Lady Sarah goes by the name ‘Sarah Armstrong-Jones’ – her maiden name – in the art world, and is known for landscapes and still life works in watercolour and oil.
After Eton College, just over the river from Windsor Castle, Sam studied History of Art – as did The Princess of Wales – at the University of Edinburgh.
After graduation, he completed a six-week apprenticeship at North Shore Pottery and then a course at the Royal Drawing School five years ago, before spending time in Japan as an apprentice with the renowned master Yagi Akira.

Horatio’s Garden is a charity Eugenie began supporting in 2019; the organisation creates outdoor spaces at hospitals for those living with severe spinal injuries. She did the same, fundraising, in 2021 and 2023, which raised £70,000 and £50,000 respectively.
The mother and son are among 70 artists gifting pieces for sale, including illustrator Quentin Blake.
Princess Eugenie visited one of the gardens earlier this year, at Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury.
The auction is open and will run until Sunday 26 October; you can place a bid here.
