After The Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte’s day at Wimbledon, it was time for The Prince of Wales and Prince George to have some father-son time at the final of the UEFA European Football Championship.
The final saw England take on Spain in Berlin, were Prince William and George were joined by King Felipe of Spain and Infanta Sofía in the stands.
The Spanish King last formally met with William during the 2017 Spanish State Visit.
With England hoping to win their first major trophy in 58 years, there were a number of high-profile individuals in attendance including the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Piers Morgan, singers Olly Murs and Louis Tomlinson, F1 star Lando Norris, and the new Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy.
As President of the Football Association and keen football fan, Prince William has been cheering on the England team throughout their journey in the Euros, which have been hosted in Germany.
This trip to the final with George marks the third time he has travelled to see England play in these championships, the first game being a Group Stage match between England and Denmark, and another at the quarterfinals versus Switzerland.
In a personal capacity, William is an Aston Villa supporter, and has been seen at many matches over the years. In more recent times, he has begun taking his children to see his team at various stadiums, including games near Sandringham.
