The statement from Clarence House said the couple were in fact, engaged earlier this month, meaning the speculation about the couple was correct. It was believed that Meghan, actress in legal drama ‘Suits’ finished the series earlier this month, and there have been reports of her packing her house up and moving to London.
Bookmakers also suspended betting on another royal wedding late last week, fuelling speculation.

They also commented, via a Kensington Palace statement: “We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents.
