On Monday afternoon, The Duchess of Cambridge proudly showed off her Back to Nature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, ahead of its opening to the public this week; The Queen was one of her guests.
Kate was a co-creator of the Back to Nature garden, which showcases her belief in the outdoors being a key part of mental wellbeing, and to childhood development.
Indeed, we got a look at the Cambridge family exploring the garden alone a few days ago, with Prince George giving his mum’s work 20 out of 10.
The Duchess was assisted in the creation by landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White of Davies White Landscape Architects. The garden features a treehouse, a small brook, a swing and a campfire, all of which should stoke the imagination in children, and encourage them to explore.
It was noticeable that Prince William took a step back during the visit, allowing Catherine to show off her work to The Queen.

Princess Beatrice was also spotted with The Duchess of Cambridge in her garden, as another regular to the annual RHS event.
Other notable gardens at the show include the ‘D-Day 75 Garden’, which tells the story from the view of Normandy veteran, Bill Pendell MM. It features ethereal metal sculptures of soldiers at the infamous and bloody landings, which turned the Allies’ fortunes in WWII.
Its sight is seven more dramatic and poignant, being located in front of the iconic Chelsea Hospital, where veterans live out their retirement.
