King Charles is set to feature in an upcoming Amazon Prime documentary inspired by his 2010 book, ‘Harmony: A New Way of Looking At Our World’.
The film aims to highlight the King’s philosophy on the interconnectedness of people, nature, and the built environment, emphasising his long-standing commitment to environmental issues.

Filming commenced in January at Dumfries House in Scotland, with the documentary expected to release in late 2025 or early 2026. This project marks a departure from the palace’s traditional collaborations with domestic broadcasters like the BBC and ITV, opting instead for a global streaming platform to reach a wider audience.
The documentary seeks to visually demonstrate how the King’s philosophies can transform individuals, communities, and the planet. It will delve into themes such as climate change, sustainable architecture, and agriculture, reflecting the core messages of Harmony.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed the project, indicating the King’s enthusiasm for translating his book into a film that communicates his vision for a sustainable future.
A source noted that ‘the King is greatly looking forward to seeing how the Harmony concept can be communicated to a new and international audience, using some of the best creative talents in TV. It’s astonishing, really, what has been put into practice since publication of the original book, 15 years ago, and how many of those pioneering ideas have been adopted in differing ways.
‘This is a chance to ‘show, not tell’ how they can transform people, places, and ultimately the planet. I think many will be genuinely amazed at the scale, scope and vision of it all, for which Dumfries House continues to be the ‘living laboratory’.’
It is understood that a number of streaming platforms were in discussions about the filming the programme, before Amazon got the job. The film is expected to be broadcast towards the end of 2025 or at the beginning of 2026.
This documentary underscores King Charles’s dedication to environmental advocacy and his desire to inspire global action towards harmony with nature.
