Moments after The Prince of Wales released a tribute to the Queen following her death on Thursday, William was joined by The Princess of Wales and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for a walkabout in Windsor as they greeted the public and viewed the floral tributes laid in the Queen’s memory.
It’s also the first time the four Royals have been seen together in public since the Commonwealth Day service in 2020, which was The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s final engagement before stepping back as working members of the family.

A source of Kensington Palace said that it was The Prince of Wales who invited The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to join him and The Princess of Wales today.
The two brothers and their wives unexpectedly came together in a time of grief and tragedy. They looked at the flowers and cards that had been laid by members of the public paying their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The couples were both dressed all in black as they walked along the gates of the castle.
The group then walked along the Long Walk. William and Catherine took one side, whilst Meghan and Harry took another, receiving flowers, cards and even a Paddington Bear!

The Princess was seen to be crouched down at one moment during the walk and began speaking to a small child who had started to cry. As soon as Catherine approached her, she stopped crying.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and now reside in the United States. The couple were on the way back from an engagement in Germany, when they received the news. The Duke of Sussex travelled up on Thursday to be with members of the Royal Family at Balmoral.
The surprise engagement comes as King Charles III expressed his support for Harry and Meghan in his first televised address as the new Monarch, also sharing his confidence in William and Catherine as they take on their new roles.
