New photo of The Duchess of Cornwall to mark her 73rd birthday

Tomorrow will see The Duchess of Cornwall celebrate her 73rd birthday; a new photo has been released to mark the occasion.

Camilla is photographed in the garden at Clarence House, amongst the trees. It was taken on Tuesday by Chris Jackson, after the Royal had visited a youth activity centre in Wiltshire.

You can see she is wearing the same vivid blue zip-front dress as the photos from that day.

The future Queen was born was born at King’s College Hospital in London,  and she grew up in Plumpton, East Sussex. While she had a romance with Prince Charles as a young woman, she went on to marry Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973, before they divorced in 1995.

In 2005, she became The Duchess of Cornwall upon her marriage to The Prince of Wales.
