The Coronation Concert takes place at Windsor Castle

A right royal knees up to celebrate the coronation

On the second day of the Coronation weekend, a star-studded concert took place at Windsor Castle.

Joined by 20,000 spectators, the Royal Family had an evening of music, comedy, and performance, with a special speech by The Prince of Wales.

In attendance we saw The King and Queen, following from their coronation yesterday, The Prince and Princess of Wales with children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

They were accompanied by The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh with Lady Louise and The Earl of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice with their respective husbands, with Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, Zara and Mike Tindall, Peter Phillips with his daughters and new partner.

Before The Prince of Wales made his speech, numerous photographs of The King were shown on the banner above the stage.

Katy Perry gave a ROAR-some performance, where she performed her hit song’s ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’. The latter was dedicated to The King and the work they do with the British Asian Trust, which the singer herself supports.

Rocking Royals – all the family and the crowds were seen dancing all night long.

The concert saw a unique collaboration between The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal College of Music and The Royal College of Art – all of them are The King’s Patronages.
