Duchess of Cambridge ‘hugely grateful’ to receive her first Covid vaccine

The Duchess of Cambridge received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday, just a week after her husband.

Catherine, 39, got her jab at the Science Museum, near to Kensington Palace, as the vaccine roll out moves to younger age groups in the UK.

Dressed down in jeans and a a t-shirt, a photo posted on the @kensingtonroyal account shows the needle in the Duchess’ arm. It was accompanied by a personal note from Kate:

“Yesterday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout – thank you for everything you are doing.”
