Proud mum The Duchess of Cambridge has released a set of four photos to mark Princess Charlotte’s first birthday, which will be celebrated tomorrow.
Kate, 34, took the photos of her daughter at the Cambridges Norfolk home, Anmer Hall last month. The pictures show the little Princess bears a striking resemblance to her older brother, Prince George.

Charlotte wears a baby pink outfit we have seen before, with a matching bow in her hair; the Princess clutches a book as she pouts looking away from the camera, her big blue eyes bearing resemblance to her father, Prince William, as a child.

Another image shows a happy toddler with a trolley of wooden blocks as she plays in the garden. You can see she is almost walking at 11 months, holding herself up on the trolley as she giggles to her mother, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

A third picture is Charlotte holding herself up on a chair, this time in a cream and baby blue outfit, again with a matching bow in her mousey-brown hair. She stares off into the distance looking determined.
The pictures were released on the Kensington Palace Twitter account saying that William and Kate ‘are happy to be able to share these family moments, ahead of their daughter’s first birthday’.

The final image of the set is a seemingly fidgety toddler on a small wicker chair. The Princess looks over her shoulder, straight at her mother behind the camera. She is in the same outfit as above.

I have just now had a look at the Royal Baby’s photos….I love them, she is so adorable….and another reason I enjoyed them is that my own grandaughter is at the same exact stage right now….so I compared thier actions and they are both doing the same things…almost walking…standing holding on to tables etc…this is the cutest stage right now….I love it. My grandaughter’s name is “Brinley”…she hasn’t quite got as much hair as Charlotte but she has a bull head of hair as well. It is just so hard changing their diapers (nappies) right now as they squiggle and roll over so much as you are working at doing them up. Love, Love Love these photos…thanx so much for sharing them with the world…I myself love photos of all my 10 grandchildren…anytime
