Prince Louis turns one! Photographs taken by Kate released to mark the occasion

This evening, three photos have been released, ahead of Prince Louis’ first birthday tomorrow.

Taken at Anmer Hall by his mother, The Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Louis is every inch the cutie in the photos.

Kensington Palace said on the release: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow. The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”

Prince Louis bears a striking resemblance to his older brother at the same age, although his eyes seem much deeper brown and larger.

The toddler wears a blue dog print jumper in the photo set, as well as a rust coloured one, which is covered in moss. He has clearly been playing outdoors as Kate held the camera.

We also notice his first teeth are in, as he is photographed.

The Duchess of Cambridge has now released photographs of all three of her children that were taken herself. We only have a few non-family photos that have been shared, such as for Prince George’s 4th birthday last year.

Prince Louis was born on 23rd April 2018 (also St George’s Day) at the Lindo Wing in Paddington.

The last time we saw the youngest Cambridge child was the official family Christmas card photo, also from Anmer, as well as pictures with Prince Charles to celebrate his 70th birthday.
