Princess Eugenie pregnant with third child

She and Jack will welcome a new arrival 'this summer'

Buckingham Palace today announced that Princess Eugenie is pregnant with her third child.

The statement, released on social media, read: ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.

‘August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.

‘His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.’

The Princess also shared her happy update on Instagram, with a photo of her two sons holding an ultrasound scan. The caption read: ‘Baby Brooksbank due 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👶🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️’.

Brother-in-law, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, left a comment of three heart emojis on the post.

Eugenie married long-term boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, in October 2018 at St George’s Chapel. They welcomed their first child, August, in February 2021. Ernest, their second son, was born in May 2023.

‘His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news,’ said a Palace post on social media.

Eugenie is a director at the art gallery, Hauser & Wirth, while Jack works in marketing for the Discovery Land Company in Portugal; the family split their time between Ivy Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace, and Portugal.
