Prince Louis gets creative in photos for his second birthday

New photos have been released of Prince Louis of Cambridge, to mark his second birthday.

Taken by his mother, The Duchess of Cambridge, four images show the young Royal with rainbow paint across his hands. They were taken earlier this month, as the family stay at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate.

Louis wears a blue and white checked shirt, rolled up at the sleeves, also splattered with paint.

He looks remarkably like Prince George and his grandad, Michael Middleton.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share five new photographs ahead of Prince Louis’ second birthday tomorrow,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

The three photos were accompanied by a rainbow hand print from the young Prince, explaining his rainbow hands! It is thought his creation is part of the nationwide movement to show the NHS support by placing rainbows in house windows.

Prince Louis was born at the Lindo Wing in 2018, with his name being announced three days later.

The youngest Cambridge was mentioned by Kate in a Zoom call earlier this week; the Duchess said that there was ‘something about the red button’ during a video call with family that made Louis want to press it!
