See Prince Louis’ adorable christening photos

The official photos for Prince Louis’ christening last week have been released, showing proud parents William and Kate with their youngest son, and extended family.

The portraits were taken at Clarence House’s Morning Room following the christening at the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, by renowned photographer Matt Holyoak. The photographer said: “I was truly honoured at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness at first hand such a happy event. Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure. I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs.”

A closer look at the photos:

Both sides of the family are all smiles, with a new addition of James Matthews – Pippa’s husband – into the Middleton mix.

The Royals. Big sister Charlotte only had eyes, and a hand, for her baby brother. Of course, The Queen didn’t attend the event last week.

The first official photo of the family of five. This was taken on a background similar to that used by Mr. Holyoak for the 70th Anniversary portraits of Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh – see them here.
