Prince Charles gets a hug from Prince Louis plus new painted face photo on his 2nd birthday

To mark Prince Louis of Cambridge’s second birthday, Clarence House have released an adorable photo of Prince Charles receiving a hug from his second-youngest grandchild. Kensington Palace also shared one extra image showing Prince Louis with paint all over his face!

The photo was accompanied by a tweet saying: “A very Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns two today. The young Prince enjoys a hug from his Grandfather, The Prince of Wales.”

The photo is in black and white, with the future King dressed down in a short-sleeved shirt and what look to be cream trousers. Louis, meanwhile, is in his brother’s white shirt with embroidery and shorts.

We are unsure as to when this photo was taken – pre-quarantining of course – but this image does appear in the background of The Prince of Wales’ video link, when he opened the UK’s first Nightingale hospital earlier this month from Birkhall.
